With roughly 1,575 shops in 21 European countries and more than 35,000 employees, C&A is a major player in the European fashion retail industry. More than two million people visit C&A per day. In addition to its European shops, C&A has outlets in Brazil, Mexico, and China.
Once a year C&A invites European fashion journalists, bloggers, industry icons, and stylists to an international press event – The C&A Collection Room. Linden & Barbosa was charged with the task of devising and executing a customized, intriguing, and exciting concept for this specific target group.
The overarching theme was Nature’s Elements, which reflected the inspiration behind the C&A collection for Autumn/Winter 2016. The idea was to bring nature into an industrial environment and adorn the surroundings with natural elements. All PR activities were focused on three core concepts: STYLE, QUALITY, and SUSTAINABILITY.
The underlying theme was present in all parts of the customer journey: in the invitation, in the arrival at the hotel, and in the event experience.
The result was breathtaking! More than 160 journalists from nineteen countries were present and reported on the event. The visitors were impressed with the presentation of the collection and the creativity behind its development. The event trended on social media and the client was highly satisfied.
'From the initial concept to the realization of the press event, the Linden & Barbosa team went above and beyond in meeting all our requests and executing them efficiently. The Nature’s Elements creative concept was apparent in every detail, in the invitation process all the way to the arrival of our guests. Every part of the project perfectly reflected our central theme and enhanced our general message. Furthermore, the responses from visitors were overwhelmingly positive.’
